About Me
Dr. Anil Pawar is currently working in the capacity of Head & Assistant Professor-Department of Pharmacology, School of Pharmacy, MIT World Peace University, Pune, India. Dr. Anil has received the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) degree from Pune University, Pune, Maharashtra, India in 2004 and Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) degree with specialization in Pharmacology from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, India in 2009. He was a first Rank holder in university during M. Pharm. Examination. In 2017, he received the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Pharmacy-Pharmacology from Poonaiyah Ramajayam Institute of Science and Technology (PRIST) University, Tamilnadu, India. Dr. Anil has 11 years of teaching and 1.5 years of industrial experience. He has presented research papers in various national and international conferences. Dr. Anil has 20 research papers and 2 books to his credit. He is a life member of APTI, IPA, IPS, SPER, IASTAM-India, LASAI and Laboratory Animal Scientist’s Association (INDIA). He has provided consultancy for ‘Preclinical screening of herbal and synthetic drugs’ to Researchers and Pharmaceutical Industries.

The influence of teachers extends beyond the classroom, well into the future – F. Sionil Jose. That’s what it meant to be Dr. Pawar’s student. While he is mostly known for his poise but strict demeanor, I have known him as someone who goes above and beyond to ensure that his students get the best possible knowledge. He is one of the reasons why I fell in love with Pharmacology and decided to pursue a career in same. He helped me through my journey of getting into graduate school not by holding my hand, but by letting me believe that I am capable of doing great things by myself and for that I will forever be grateful.
